About

“What started as something personal slowly became something more.”

Indi Edition was never meant to be just a brand—it started as a way for me to get through the quiet heaviness of winter.

I began knitting during a time when I needed something to pull me out of seasonal depression, something grounding, something soft. Living with an autoimmune condition, I’ve always been sensitive to what touches my skin, so softness isn’t optional for me, it’s everything. I couldn’t find materials that felt right, so I started creating my own world where they did.

What started as something personal slowly became something more.

I would go out wearing my pieces, and people would stop me asking where my coat was from. Most of the time, they didn’t believe me when I said I made it. That’s when it clicked. This wasn’t just a hobby anymore. It was something people could see, feel, and connect to.

I don’t follow patterns. I freehand every piece as I go, letting it come together naturally. No two coats are ever the same each one is truly one-of-one. That’s the foundation of Indi Edition.

I design for the everyday city girl, the one who moves through the city with quiet confidence. I want my pieces to feel like something more than just clothing. When you put one on, I want you to feel like that girl—effortless, warm, seen. Like it was made specifically for you.

My color choices are instinctive. I’m naturally drawn to earthy tones, but I’m always influenced by my surroundings, the energy, textures, and mood of Chicago.

Indi Edition is something I built alongside my life as an IT Analyst, in late nights, in between responsibilities, choosing to create something real with my hands. Every piece carries that intention.

And “Indi”, that name means everything to me. It was a nickname my late father gave me. It stands for individuality, for being one-of-one. For presence without needing to speak.

Indi Edition is a reflection of that.

You don’t have to say anything when you walk into a room.
The coat does it for you.
